I don't know how I missed this when you sent it, but what a delight to read. Hopefully March brings more fantastic (non-)flirts.

Thank you, Joey! I've been struggling to keep up myself, lately. I think I might actually be a Fun Fact Friyay behind!

So what if you were harmlessly flirting? It's good for the soul. I love flirting, but there is a time and place. A restaurant is the perfect time and place, especially with a waiter with questioning eyebrows. I chat to the young men on the checkout at my supermarket and my husband enjoys teasing me about what my "boyfriends" are up to, haha.

Wonderful story! I really enjoyed it ... so much so that I'm now a subscriber!

It seems like every other Substack is reporting doom and gloom, or something about how we have to be resilient and rise above the chaos we're in.

Thank you for providing a breath of fresh air, Amanda!

No matter how you label it sounds like a fun interaction that intentionally or not kept going for days! The earring could always turn up and bring another restaurant encounter!

This was hilarious. I think you should go back there for lunch once a week, wearing one different earring each time.

So humorous and relatable. Irrespective of our age, it is validating to be noticed by the opposite sex. All of your posts bring a smile to o my face🙂.

So sweet, charming and funny. I wonder if wearing 1 earring means something in Mateo’s culture. 🥰👏

Amanda! Are you flirting with disaster? You and I of course have flirted - don't think I haven't noticed!... in laws' prerogative, of course. (Wink, eyebrow raise) Loved the piece, laughed out loud. Enjoyed reading this. It's been a long time since anyone flirted with me. Could it be because I'll be turning 89 next month?

Adorable! We all need to experience a flirt from time to time whether or not it’s real.
