I've had a couple of delightful discussions about my latest essay ("We All Need a Moment"), so I thought I'd open up the conversation. Here's my question for you:
If you had to choose the first-ever video to be transmitted 19 million miles through space, what video would you send? (No picking on Taters the cat -- I want to know what you would send, not what you wouldn't!)
Take a moment and join the Chat! (And let me know what you think of the experience.)
If I had to choose the first-ever video to be transmitted 19 million miles through space, I'd probably send a video of a bluebird feeding its baby chicks in its nest.
I've given this some thought. I think I'd choose a time-lapse film of flowers blossoming. Love those!

I've given it virtually no thought, but my gut tells me a video of babies laughing. Nothing is more life-affirming than that.
